Unable to update Firmware RBK852

Hi,

 

I just received an email stating "Important Security Firmware Update from NETGEAR". However, I've tried the automatic update on the routerlogin.net page and the iOS app but the system fails to recognize an update. Then I tried manually updating it by downloading the latest drivers 4.6.7.13 and when I click update on the satellite a new page opens http://192.168.1.11/fwUpdate.htm but the page is unresponsive "This site can’t be reached" error (tried on Chrome and Edge).

 

I am running the system in AP mode with Netgear Nighthawk XR1000 as the main router.

 

Model: Orbi RBK852

Current drivers: V4.6.3.16_2.0.51

    Might power OFF the RBS and RBR for 1 minute then back ON. 

    Once the RBS is ready and front LED is BLUE, try logging in to the RBS web page at 192.168.1.11 first. 

    Clear out all browser caches before entering the web page. 

     

    Can you select FW update from the left side menu?

    It might be worth taking a second to look at the Orbi Attached Devices page and verify the IP address of the satellite. (is it really 192.168.1.11)
