VLAN and Internet connection

Why would enabling VLAN w/tagging cause my Internet to lose connection?

  • I suppose that explains it.  What I wanted to do was segregate my Wifi Cameras so they are lower priority than my IPTVs.  Seems I can't do that -- at least with Orbi VLAN

That sounds to me like a Quality of Service (QoS) goal rather than VLAN.  IPTV is 99% Downstream traffic (from the internet to TVs) and security cameras would seem to be mostly upstream (from cameras to the Cloud).

Whatever. Orbi does not provide the user control over QoS, either.
