What are the recommended Channels and Channel widths for an RBR750 system?
Thinking about tweaking my system but it's been a long time since I've done that so what are the recommendations for 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels and channel widths. Simple home system, nothing elaborate...

Find out whos near by your home with other wifi signals. Find the lowest used channel on 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. Primary channels to use on 2.4Ghz is 1, 6 or 11 and 5Ghz is 36 thru 48.
I use manual 1 and 40 for my system here keeping away from other used channels.
You can change 20/40Mhz coexistance channel width only on 2.4ghz.

The setting just tells the Orbi to back down to 20 mhz if it finds a competing wifi that it might interfere with.
There are a few cases where turning this off will improve 2.4 ghz performance. Whether that matters depends on what devices you have that require this band. Your phones, tablets, and pcs are almost certainly connecting at 5 ghz.

Ya, I know.
Ya most dual band devices prefer 5Ghz.
