When will you fix the issue with orbi rbr750 wifi dropping issues!!!

Seeing lots of posts about internet dropping with the most recent firmware

I have a fttp (fibre to the premise) setup where the termination point is the “modem”. All you need to do is add a router…simple.

But in the last couple month the performance of my rbr750 is to the point of it becoming a boat anchor.

I have 2 satellites. One is connected via a cat6 cable. I then run another cable to a work laptop because it’s the ONLY way to ensure my WebEx meetings don’t drop (occurs numerous times per hour where wifi just disconnects and all devices drop)

all have the latest firmware. All have been factory resets NUMEROUS times. I’ve tried to downgrade to a much older version but the router won’t let me….. that leaves one option. Listen to your customers and fix the problem.

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS📡 to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

What channels are you using? Auto? Try Auto and 48 on 5Ghz. Or try setting manual channel 1, 6 or 11 on 2.4Ghz and 40 to 48 channel on 5Ghz.
Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many?

Try disabling the following and see:
    Armor, SPC, Traffic Meter.
Set 20/40Mhz Coexistence to 40Mhz only. Set CTS to 2347. Set Short preamble instead of Long preamble modes. Save settings and reboot the router and satellite(s). Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Any Wifi Neighbors near by? If so, how many? Maybe 1 or 2 available upstairs. None downstairs

Armor, SPC, Traffic Meter. Both are disabled

"What is the size of your home? Sq Ft? 490" Is this in Feet or Meters?

So if you turn OFF both RBS, does the RBR have problems still?

        Try Channels 1 and 40.

What channels are the neighbors using?
