6 G to Satellite is slow

So details as others have said. 

  1. what actual router do you have?
  2. what firmware is on it? 
  3. what modem/gateway is it connected to? 
  4. Does the speed drop only happen when connected to the satellite? 
  5. how far from the router is the satellite and what materials are in the way? (type of wall materials, appliances, floors, etc)
  6. Is it only the 6ghz on the satellite that has the lower speed.

    Hi Folks,  Thank you for your help. More information: 

    Orbi 770 Series Tri-Band WiFi 7 Mesh System, 11Gbps, 3-Pack (RBE773)
    Firmware Version
    V10.5.20.7_2.2.48 

    It connects to an RF antenna that connects to a tower with Spectrum broadband.

    The speed drop seems to happen only when connected to the satellite and when it is 6ghz mode, but my Apple MacBook Pro M4 makes this automatic.   The Satellite is above me on the second floor about 20 feet away. So 1 floor and 1 wall separate us. However, this never used to be a problem for my older Mac Laptop....  Theoretically, the 6 G should be faster.     Don't know if I can force it to connect to the main router.  

     

    Any suggestions appreciated.
