6 G to Satellite is slow

I am at the point of ditching my Orbi 770 Series Tri-Band WiFi 7 Mesh System, 11Gbps, 3-Pack (RBE773) with latest firmware.
My Router 771 gets between 60 and 80 Mbps to my ISP, however I am seeing terrible results with my Mac M4 Laptop. Note, sometimes my speed is 60 Mpbs with my laptop but then it is 100 KB! When I check my router it is still showing a good strong connection. This variance on my laptop is without any changes in location or any other devices on or interfering. I cannot explain this discrepancy. I did not have this issue with my Orbi 50 set, but only upgraded because the 50 was EOL. I don't think I would buy another Netgear mesh system.
I am frustrated to the point of exasperation. Any lifelines for a sinking ship?
"latest firmware" is v10.5.20.10, issued Jan 18, 2026. Right?
Is there a pattern to this problem?
How long does the speed remain slow before returning to normal?
How is the M4 laptop connected to the Orbi system?
- Ethernet or WiFi?
- Router or one of the satellites?

V10.5.20.10_2.2.51 I can't see a pattern. Like sometimes in the morning it will be normal speed, and then it bogs down.Could be down at slow speed for 30 minutes or more. The M4 is on Wifi, and may connect either to the router or the satellite. Sometimes the satellite connection to the router seems like it is not working well. Because it was not working well, I turned off the satellite to see. The speed with direct connection was showing the same symptoms. I turned the satellite back on and currently I am connected to it and the speed is back to normal.
Would be good to test the M4 laptop over ethernet to see if it sees same issue.
Also use manual channels 1 and 40 or 11 and 48.
Been beta testing FW for the 770v1 series. Looking good. Hoping NG will push this soon. Will be in small batches.
Also, I did a 30-30-30 reset on the satellite and that may have helped.
Intermittent problems are the very devil to diagnose. It may be helpful to keep a record of these occurrences. Do any other devices in the house appear to suffer similar problems?
No other devices seem to have this problem My wife's Mac laptop 2020 doesn't have this issue I don't think.
