771 mesh router and satellite - no seamless transitions

How big is the home? How many satellites? How many levels? 

Could be that the phones built in roaming protocol doesn't call for them to switch to a stronger signal yet. If the older AC tech didn't broadcast as far, they might not roam as often with a newer/faster system.

    What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️

     

    For that size of home, the RBR and just one should work well. 

    Can you try to see if turning OFF one RBS results is same tranisition issues?
