970 Device Disconnect Issue update
So I know have a stable running 970 mesh system. What changed? Well, it was one of 2 things. Not sure which one fixed the problem. I had the Orbi's SAT's connected via CAT8 cable to a TP-Link 10G unmanaged switch then the Router connected to the switch as well. The fix came when I downloaded the most recent firmware update and 9.10.2.3 and removed the switch from the equation connecting the SAT's to the router directly. I have been watching my Roku's for the last 48 hours and I was on a hour long conference call without any drops. I was also testing the Eero 7 mesh system as well. I found that they do not play nice with Wemo devices so it looks like the Eero is going back and the Orbi 970 is staying. For some reason I have found unmanaged switches introduce all kinds of issues (I assume with routing being one of them) not really sure why.

Try NG branded and model switches next time. I've found these to work with the Orbi system:
XS505M and GS110MX
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Quick question. It seems that if I go into the Orbi app and change the name of the devices connected, that when I power cycle the router, it resets all the names. If I save a configuation file and restore it from that file, would my custom device names be restored as well?

Should be.
What happens if you change the names on the RBRs web page then power cycle the router?

Any progress on this?
