Any real world experience on Orib970 range
Hi everyone, I'm considering to buy the Orbi 970 to finally create a future-proof WiFi mesh system in my house. However, I'm doubting whether I should go for the 3-pack or a 2-pack would be suffi...

Yes there are known issues that NG is working on resolving currently. We've help get all this to NG. Also this effects both Apple and Android so they are in the mix as well. Also some WiFi7 seen with NG devices have been seen with other Mfrs as well so seems to be industry wide problem with WiFi7.
I don't have any Apple WiFi 7 devices nor have Ipv6 from the ISP so I don't see these issues. I only have a few WiFi7 PCs and one Android 25s phone that user doesn't seem to exhibit issues on our 970 series.
If you want something a bit more mature, might review the 960 series if you are looking for high speed support though no WiFi7 with the 960.
All up to you.

Thank you for your quick responses – that certainly helps.
My current Modem & ISP (in The Netherlands) are from Sagemcom and Delta respectively. Currently that is only 1 Gb/s, but I’m considering upgrading to 8 Gb/s glass fiber, hence my interest in a high-quality mesh system. I don’t know what ISP or modem that will come with yet.
My only (other) concern holding me back to invest in the Orbi970 is the many unresolved technical issues users are frequently reporting also in this community (e.g., connectivity issues with IOS, Pixel, and Google Nest devices which happen to be the most prominent devices in my home). Similar issues appear to be true for the Orbi870’s... The solutions that are offered (e.g., by @ donawalt) seem to work, but it shouldn’t be up to users to disable certain functionality such as IPv6 to get a system to work (in my humble opinion). I know it might almost sound blasphemous in this community, but it makes me wonder whether I shouldn’t rather go for the Deco BE85 … Or are the issues exaggerated out of proportion? Any thoughts?
