Case #48833858 – Orbi 772 System RUN AWAY!

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with NETGEAR and the Orbi 772 system I purchased back in February. Since day one, the system has not worked properly, and despite opening a support ticket seven months ago (Case #48833858), I still have no resolution.

 

During these seven months, I have been repeatedly asked for logs, maps of my house, site surveys, beta firmware installations, and more. I have complied with every single request, yet my issue remains unresolved. I have been requesting an RMA for months, but my requests are simply ignored.

 

To make matters worse, the support process is inconsistent and frustrating. The assigned attendants change without notice, and emails arrive without any previous history — forcing me to piece things together from my own saved records and glad that I’m saving it all since day one. Whenever NETGEAR asks me for something, they follow up daily until I respond. But once I provide what is asked, the communication stops and I am left waiting endlessly and when come back, there’s nothing to solve my problems, just more waste of time.

 

Now my warranty period is shrinking with no resolution in sight. I am losing confidence that NETGEAR has any intention of honoring its commitments. Meanwhile, I continue to experience daily disconnections during important work calls — today alone, it happened three times during the same call. This is unacceptable and directly impacts my ability to work.

 

I want to make it clear: I will no longer recommend NETGEAR products to anyone. If this is how support is handled — ignoring customers, dragging out cases for months, and failing to resolve obvious hardware issues — then buyers deserve to be warned.

 

NETGEAR, I expect immediate action on my case, specifically the RMA I have been requesting for months, before my warranty expires.
