Changing to wired backhaul on RBE971
Hi there, I previously setup the Orbi 970 satellite on wireless and would like to change the configuration to a wired backhaul. Is there a quick way to do this or do I need to do a setup from scratch?

Connect one of the router LAN ports to a satellite LAN port with Ethernet cable and the system will switch automatically.
Most user temporarily relocate the satellite next to the router and use a short Ethernet cable to validate that the switch happens first. If the switch does not happen when the satellite is relocated to the remote location, this is often an indication of a problem with the in-house wiring.

Be sure your using good quality LAN cable. CAT6A STP is recommended. ️
