It might be helpful to see a diagram of the entire existing network, including WiFi access points.
Asus generally ranks toward the top in WiFi reviews. How many Asus units are installed? Perhaps Asus units are sensitive to 'wired' connection methods? (similar to the Orbi systems?)

Orbi would work in that same configuration as well.

And that's what I wanted to achieve. First with Asus Mesh later with Orbi system.

First picture will work, this one will not work. Orbi satellites need to be connected behind the Orbi router unit, with or with out a switch in between them.

Before renovation I didn't think about AP, so I've made the ethernet sockets in not suitable point for access point:)
I would need to run the cable directly on the wall (that's unesthetic :)
And placing AP about 20 cm above the floor is without sense
