It might be helpful to see a diagram of the entire existing network, including WiFi access points.
Asus generally ranks toward the top in WiFi reviews. How many Asus units are installed? Perhaps Asus units are sensitive to 'wired' connection methods? (similar to the Orbi systems?)
with the AP, there will again be a problem with visible cables
Surely the Ethernet cable is 'visible' on RBE970 satellites?

Orbi would work in that same configuration as well.
And that's what I wanted to achieve. First with Asus Mesh later with Orbi system.
First picture will work, this one will not work. Orbi satellites need to be connected behind the Orbi router unit, with or with out a switch in between them.
Do you have some kind of solution that I could use. AP would be the last one. I've seen that for example SXK80 Orbi Pro WiFi 6 -
AX6000 Tri-band WiFi System are compatible with insight. SX is eol. What about ax6000? Maybe I should wait a bit or longer and orbi system would work with my configuration? :)
