Have you done a factory reset and setup from scratch after v.2 FW was loaded to see if problem still happens?

Yes I have setup the router from scratch after loading the latest firmware. I only have the 970 providing wifi for all my devices and usually I am seated in front of the router (line of sight) when these disconnects are happening. I am running Android 16

OK, thank you for confirming that.
Does this happen with the RBS turned off?
What channels are you using on the RBR?
Also someone reported changing the WPA settings to WPA3 only on the main WLAN and setting up IoT network for those devices that don't support WPA3. User saw good connections with there new gen Apple devices. Wondering if you could give this a try as well?
