Daily Disconnects from IoT Network
Hi All,
I am running an Orbi 970 system with firmware version V9.10.2.3_1.1.13 on both the router and the two satellites. Prior to the 970 system, I had the Orbi 960 system, and that worked flawlessly (no disconnects).
Basically what happens is one to two times a day at random times nothing in my house can connect to the IoT network however everything on the other network which is the 5GHZ/6GHZ is just fine. I have to reboot the router to get it to work. I have seen this problem listed a few times on this forum with no resolution.
I have gigabit internet from Verizon using the Arris 1000 G14 ONT.
I have seen this problem in other posts as well. There seems to be a problem with this Orbi 970 system and Verizon Fios. They don't have any other ONT to give me. 38.2 million people across 10 states have Fios. This is something Netgear you need to fix.

The other post don't have problems with IoT, just there Verizon ISP and this Orbi model system. These are two separate issues.
Are you seeing problems with your Verizon ISP as well or just IoT devices not working after a period of of time?
What IoT devices do you have connected?
How many devices are connected, IoT and all other wifi devices?
Does this happen with the RBS turned OFF?
Does this happen with both wireless and wired devices?
What channel configurations are currently set on the router? How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?
What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

A complete pull of the power adapters for a period of time after the factory reset then walk thru the setup wizard and setup from scratch with a wired PC and web browser. https://kb.netgear.com/22697/How-do-I-install-my-NETGEAR-router-using-the-router-web-interface
Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Or use the ERASE button on the routers web page to factory reset the router:
