Did anybody with samsung s25 phones figure out how to connect to wifi 7
I had a s25 ultra which when connected only shows wifi 6. I now get a s25 and im only seeing wifi 6 went to the lab and wifi 7 is turn on so is there something im not doing?

A wireless client can only see -and- connect to SSID on channels it's allowed to operate - by local regulatory.

Would be interesting to see how the similar screen shows on your Pixel 10.
TOPS119 wrote:The tricky part about this is I have other android phones like my google pixel 10 which seem to connect fine with the 5ghz so its just the samsung thats lock to the 2.4ghz
Moden mobile phones regulatory capailities, including for Wi-Fi, are controlled based on the effective operation location (eg. GPS based)

So the limiting factor seems to be some regulatory tables implemented on your Samsung phone.
Where exactly are you resp. your Orbi, and your wirelss devices located?

Yes, but the phone is seeing the Orbi 970 backhaul. While I think the 970 does have a separate backhaul (unlike other Orbi WiFi 7 models), it still seems unusual that the phone wouldn't see at least 5 ghz. But worth double-checking. TOPS119 - are you still using channel 44 for 5 ghz? That should be available everywhere in the world.
One poster in the Samsung discussion thread found that switching into airplane mode resolved their similar problem. They were thinking this was due to interference from the SIM (which makes no sense to me), but it is easy to try.
Another found that turning off WiFi 7 using Samsung's Connectivity Labs diagnostic allowed the phone to connect. This is trickier to try, since that diagnostic is normally hidden.
TOPS119 - if the phone is using "intelligent wifi" then it might also be worth turning that off, and seeing if that makes any difference.

Yes I am still using the 44 for the 5, I tried the airplane mode suggestion that never worked for me. I am not using a sim in this phone currently so it couldnt be that for me. intelligent wifi doesnt seem it has an option to toggle on and off..

In case here both the bonded channels are operating on recognized bands, the OPs Sammy can recognize it.
