Did anybody with samsung s25 phones figure out how to connect to wifi 7
I had a s25 ultra which when connected only shows wifi 6. I now get a s25 and im only seeing wifi 6 went to the lab and wifi 7 is turn on so is there something im not doing?
Did you check to see if MLO is enabled on the client-facing wifi in the Orbi?
That might explain why the phone isn't connecting to 5 ghz. So if it is enabled, try disabling it.
I am not sure what your asking me to do but from what I understand is, Orbi 970 does not allow you to mess with the MLO feature of the router and if its the device you are talking about samsung s23 does not use MLO as its not wifi 7 its a wifi 6e.

I own the 870 myself - I recall seeing a setting (maybe just for the backhaul), but it appears to be gone now. There are similar references to a setting in the 970 in the community forum. Probably removed in a later firmware release. Still, it might be good to double-check the advanced wifi settings (advanced tab, advanced settings at the bottom left).
FWIW, 6 ghz likely is a regulatory issue, since it has not been approved by the Jamaican government. But 5 ghz should work, you shouldn't be stuck with 2.4 ghz. If you pursue with Netgear and/or Samsung, I suggest focussing them on 5 ghz.
samsung s23 does not use MLO
But the s25 does. My theory (speculative) was that the s25 was seeing MLO in the router network advertisement, and was not showing the option to join because 5ghz+6ghz can't be legally used in your region (yet).
