Does ORBI RBE 971 have QoS settings?

Hi,

 

I have a ORBI RBE971 router with two 970 satellites.  I can't find anywhere to set up QoS.  I've been an ORBI user since they first came out, and have gone through most generations of the systems.  I've always been able to set QoS under the Advanced section of the web page, but there is no longer such a menu entry.

Has the 971 lost QoS capability?  Seems odd for the flagship device.

    My understanding from a while back was running the internal speed test somehow adjusted the QoS settings essentially turning it off with todays much higher speeds as mentioned already, not needed.

    Agree.  While Orbi systems appear to have had some sort of internal QoS mechanism at the start, the user had no ability to alter anything.

    I don't remember seeing QoS settings on the Orbi AC or AX/AXE series. They were automatic. Current BE series is the same. QoS is all automatic. 

    With most high speed ISP services these days, 500Mbps and beyond, long time information seems to point that QoS isn't really needed or need to be adjusted by users. 

    I have not had a need for QoS adjustments since I first got 1Gb years ago.
