Found Fix To IoT Disconnect Issues
Hi All,
I've been experiencing daily disconnections on the Orbi 970 IoT network while using the "2.4 GHz only" mode. However, after switching to the "2.4 GHz and 5 GHz" mode, these disconnections have ceased. This issue persisted across all firmware versions I've used, including the current one (V9.10.4.1). I suggest someone report this to Netgear as a potential bug for investigation. I just wanted to provide this update in case it helps someone else.

So having the IoT network only configured for 2.4Ghz was causing disconnections for the connected devices, then enabling both 2.4 and 5Ghz configuration on the IoT network seems to have stopped the disconnections?

Correct. My connection has been stable for a week with no disconnects, whereas previously I would experience them daily, particularly with devices like Nest, 2.4GHz-only Ring cameras, and other 2.4GHz-only devices. This improvement has been a significant relief.
How many devices did you have all contacted at one time while using only the 2.4Ghz radio for the IOT network?
