How do I downgrade my Orbi 973 from V12.1.8.7 to V9.13.2.1???

How do I downgrade my Orbi 973 from V12.1.8.7 to V9.13.2.1?

 

I was holding on to version 12, but I have enough things that aren't working right, including using Open VPN to access my home network while away from home, that I need to get to a stable build.

 

I attempted this downgrade, starting with the satellites, but they tell me:

 

"Firmware Downgrade Not Allowed. The firmware version you are trying to install is older than version 9.13.3.1. Please install firmware version 9.13.3.1 or newer."

    Where did you get v12 from? That version was pulled the same day it was posted. Was not supposed to be released from what I was told.

    I got it that day while it was public. I installed it and stuck with it, but now that I’ve noticed functionality I need not working, I want to downgrade.

    For those who plan to downgrade, Furry can send instructions. 

    but involves factory resetting the system and setting up from scratch. 

    I’m out. 

    Ubiquiti WiFi 7 setup will be here tomorrow. 

    I look forward to the catharsis of tossing this $2000 Orbi beta product into the electronics recycling container after 3 years of frustration, with no end in sight.
