Examining the number of active WiFi systems on each channel is a feature of the Orbi 'app'. It is not clear (to me) whether the function is performed on the smartphone running the Orbi 'app' or performed on the Orbi router and reported via the 'app'.
It might be worth taking a minute to open the Orbi app and select WiFi Analytics. This has a number of displays. (scroll the page to see them).
Of course, if the feature is actually done on the smartphone, then any reporting of 6G WiFi would require that the smartphone running the Orbi 'app' support 6G WiFi.
I have neither a 970 system nor a smartphone that supports 6G WiFi, so I cannot investigate. What does the 'app' report for your 970 system?
