I have two directly wired backhauls through MOCA
Hello similar experience they told me they would replace the 960s if I bought the 970s. So I spent over $4,000 on the 970 system and then when I sent back to 960s they said... oh it's been more ...

Maybe due to your MOCA adapters and blocking good data flow in between the RBR and RBS. If some data is blocked then the RBS can't fully sync properly.
Do the RBS fully sync when wirelessly connected to the RBR?
Try a RBS directly ethernet connected behind the RBR and check for full sync status.
What FW version do you have?
How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of the home in sq feet?
What is the distance between the router 📡 and satellite(s)🛰️? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR 📡 and RBS 🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.
I and know of others with this system with ethernet connected RBS and have zero problem syncing RBS. Though I for one don't use MOCA. I believe others don't as well. Be sure to due more diligence in testing before blaming NG.
