I too have intermittent Wi-Fi drops

Join the Orbi club - I experience the same exact outcomes but I am using a Google Pixel 10 Pro.  The problem is not with the cell phones but the Orbi 970 system where I guess it is more a satellite problem than the router.  Only possible solution I see is to wait for the Netgear firmware update, alluded to in this blog as Version 12.xx.xx.xx  I've tired every suggestion, maybe some improvement but not complete elimination of the Wi-Fi drops.  It isn't a critical problem since the cellular 5G network works the same as the Wi-Fi at the app level so really nothing is lost except the damn notifications which I've turned off on my cell phone.  For me the cellular 5G signal strength is much less than the Wi-Fi (see my previous postings on signal dBm levels) and thus the download/upload speeds are slower on 5G.  I would be happy going back to 2G since I don't spend my life on my cellphone but that is a philosophy in which I am losing big time.  I now have equipment installations that only work on a cell phone.  Another problem I face is that it seems the smart and rich cell phone users are predominantly Apple.  However, I gave my wallet to Mr. Gates back in the 1980's.  And prior to that I put a man on the moon using a deterministic operating system - ah the good old days!!  My conclusion is that new technology only brings its own set of problems and I am cursed for life doing updates, downloads, backups, wasting my life on such things as dropped Wi-Fi, etc., etc. Flame turned off.
