iPhone WiFi disconnect issues - Orbi 970
This morning, sitting in a chair, my iPhone 16 Pro Max flipped to 5G. It's a seat where it gets about 500Mbps-750 Mbps download speed, depending on the time of day. I went into settings, flipped WiFi off then on, and it went back to WiFi.
But, about 30 minutes later, at my desk with is 5 feet from a 970 satellite, I happened to be looking at the router's device list, and it showed the iPhone on the 5GHz band. I verified the setting for 6E was on automatic. I tried toggling WiFi again, it stayed on 5G. I went to the satellite status page, and it doesn't show an IP address for the device (circled), yet it is on WiFi according to the phone.
So now after typing all this, about 5 minutes later, I checked and it's on 5G+6G again. Go figure.

Sounds like there maybe lingering Apple and NG FW issues still on going.
Maybe some LAG hang time as well on when the status updates on the UI.
Wondering if you set a static IP on the phone, would it change this behavior?

Good idea - I'll try that. I did it a long time ago, but not on this FW.
