IPv6 setup help RBE972s
I just bought the RBE972s and I am having issues setting up IPv6. My service provider is Kinetic by Windtream. I know for a fact that they have IPv6 because it works with the rented router that they provided.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.Do you have the RBR connected behind another router?
Your ISP Modem already has a built in router and wifi. This would be a double NAT (two router) condition which isn't recommended. https://kb.netgear.com/30186/What-is-Double-NAT

Couple of options,
1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge or modem only mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. You'll need to contact the ISP for help and information in regards to the modem being bridged correctly.
2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ/ExposedHost or IP Pass-Through for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode.
3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, configure AP mode on the Orbi router. https://kb.netgear.com/31218/How-do-I-configure-my-Orbi-router-to-act-as-an-access-point and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H7LOcJ8GdDo&app=desktop
Try option #2 first...If you put the RBR in AP mode behind the ISP router, does IPv6 work then?
NG is aware of some issues with IPv6.
- 1.So the RBE972s is running the latest firmware available: 9.10.4.1_1.1.17.
2.I am not using the Orbi as a bridge currently. The Orbi is connected directly into the wall port using the supplied cable that came with the RBE972S.
3.I was able to have Ipv6 at my house next door using a Netgear Nighthawk AX6 router (no modem/same ISP).What is not working specifically with IPv6?
Have you been to https://ipv6-test.com to check the state of the protocol?
