Hi Furry,
Thanks for getting back to me.
How do I accomplish #1. Would that require and add-on?
For #2, both are set to "Auto" and Preamble Mode/Auto. I hope that is what you mean.

Log into the RBRs web page with a web browser and under Advanced Tab/Internet Setup and there is a section for DNS here. Set to Automatic by default, 2nd option down is manually input custom DNS addresses here.
Log into the RBRs web page with a web browser and under Basic Tab/Wireless Settings you'll see channel information for 2.4ghz and 5Ghz. What is seen here for the channels?

No add-ons needed.
Just log into the web management page using your browser, and click on "internet". Then select "Use These DNS Servers" in the "Domain Name Server (DNS) Address" section.
- CloudFlare IPs: 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1
- Quad9 IPs: 9.9.9.9 and 149.112.112.112
- Google IPs: 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4
Note you can mix and match (for instance, using 1.1.1.1 for primary, and 8.8.8.8 for secondary).
Best to reboot the router after doing this.
While this could be the issue, it seems unlikely, since your old Orbi was likely using your ISP DNS.
What model Orbi did you have before?

Thanks. I'll do that when I get back home later.
My previous Orbi was a series 2 but I can remember the exact one.

I followed your recommendations.
I disabled Armor and set my DNS to the CloudFlare and Google IPs. However, now my internet is disconnecting more frequently. I was in the middle of a podcast this morning and got disconnected 3x.
Ideas?

Were you connected at the RBR or RBS when doing your podcast?
Try auto DNS again leave Armor disabled.
Set manual channesl 1 and 40 or 11 and 48.
I would power OFF both RBR and ISP modem for 1 minute then back ON.
Might try testing with a ethernet PC connected behind the ISP Modem to see if anything is noticed there.
Might try testing with the RBS turned OFF to see if only the RBR exhibit
