Manual update to 9.13.2.1 from V9.12.3.3_1.2.20
I had two Orbi 970 systems, both running 9.12.3.3_1.2.20. I tried to manually update one to 9.13.2.1 downloaded from the Netgear support site. The satellites worked fine. The router bricked. I am...

As per my previous postings tonight (4/27/2026) I too have found it all confusing at best. When you state that you have two Orbi 970 systems, I really don't know exactly what you are describing, an RBE971 router and/or an RBE970 satellite or some combination of one or both. Regardless check out the URL https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rbe972s You will find the latest Firmware Version 9.13.2.1 but note that the SAME firmware version is a different download for the RBE971 Router (56.4 MB) as compared to the firmware download for the RBE970 Satellite (34.7 MB). I would hope this clears up your situation but I am not placing any bet in the prediction market!!

By two... I mean two routers (RBE971) with two satellites each. Used in different homes to avoid confusion, I'm not trying to connect them all together.
However, the second system is now in the same state. I didn't try to update it, it went offline in the middle of the night and now does the same thing... power light just flashes amber and it never boots up.

Can try a 30-30-30 reset and see if this can bring the system back online.
Press reset for 30 seconds while power is ON.
Keep pressing reset for 30 seconds while removing power
Keep pressing reset for another 30 seconds while apply power
If this fails, you'll need to make contact with NG support.
