Manually assign/connect device to satellite

I have the same problem with a wireless camera in my Garage. It connects to a satellite which is further away. The camera shows the connection strength and the satellite it connects to has a lower signal strength. Fortunately, that camera can be rebooted from my smartphone (another option is to power cycle the device) and then it connects and stays connected to the closest satellite.
