To get WiFi 7, Mixed mode needs to be set. WPA2 is default on the 370 series due to NG wanting backwards compatibility. If you set mixed mode, you may see some older devices not work well with WPA3 being on the signal. If you see this, you can put these devices on the IoT network and then set WPA2 only.

Just FYI, the S24 is NOT WiFi7 compatible, it's WiFi6E comaptible:

The S25 was the first WiFi7 device to appear to support this feature:

And I do have a S25 and it does connect at WiFi7 on my 370 series currently in AP mode.

Sorry but you are WRONG. I dont have a S24. I have S24 Ultra. And I've already talked to Samsung Tech Support for confirmation.

Ok, I found the specs on the Ultra and is supposed to support 7.

I'd maybe open a support ticket with both samsung and NG on this. Not sure why your Ultra isn't connecting fully. My S25 is.
Something either on Android or NG side of this. They will need to check into it.

Hello GregS_from_MI ,
Welcome to the NETGEAR Community!
I understand that Wi-Fi 7 is not showing up next to your connected network. Wi-Fi 7 is a new technology in which connectivity is dependent on the device hardware. If your Samsung device is capable of Wi-Fi 7, it will need to be enabled within your wireless settings. If the Wi-Fi 7 option is not available, then your Samsung device is not compatible.
Please do the following to connect to Wi-Fi 7 using your Samsung device:
- Navigate to settings.
- Tap Connections.
- Tap Wi-Fi.
- Tap the three dots on the upper right of the screen.
- Tap Intelligent Wi-Fi.
- Tap Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Tap Intelligent Wi-Fi until the "Connectivity Labs" appear.
- Tap Connectivity Labs.
- Tap Wi-Fi 7 Mode (located right under "L4S" if compatible).
Best,
Kevin
