For more in-depth information. Dong did do a analysis on the orbi family, the MLO option, the backhaul option, and more. its worth a read if you want more information on the subject.

Was the old 50 series slowing anything down or what triggered the desire to update? The 50 series should still be decent with 500mbps service.

My previous RBR50 router just stopped working. The white led kept flashing and would never connect.
Not sure if the backhaul to the satellite is 5g. I did the basic plug and play set up. I figured that would optimize the connections. Not sure I would check if the back haul is 5g. I recall my RBR50 had a beamoforming option, or something like that. I don't see that setting for the 370.

If you log into the web ui, and then look at "attached devices", you will see the satellite connection type (hopefully "5 GHz") at the top of the list. There's also a connection status (hopefully "good"). If the connection status is "config sync", then the mesh is still figuring out the best connection.
If your test client is near the satellite, you should also be able to see whether it is in fact connected to the satellite wifi, or whether it remains connected to the router. You can also see whether the connection is 2.4 ghz or 5 ghz.

Over time, some settings are removed simply because there is no reason for users to turn them off.
In any event, it is built into WiFi 7, so the 370 does have that feature.
