You said above that this happened on multiple LAN ports.  The router has only one LAN port.  Is there a switch connected to that port?  Or did you mean you've tested this on both the router and one of the satellites?  If not, it would be useful to test on the satellite LAN ports, and see if you get a faster download speed.

Do you have a switch handy?  If the PC is directly connected to the LAN port, then it would be useful to see if inserting a switch between the PC and the router helps.  The LAN port is multigig, so it is possible something is going wrong with the speed negotiation. 

Also, are you using cat 6 cables?  If not, then what are you using?

I doubt that the firmware is the issue, but there are security fixes, so you should update it.  Note the firmware for the satellites is different from the router (and the update will fail if you accidentally install the wrong one).
