Thanks spent an hour with Fios... they had me "hard reset" and confirmed that all radios on Fios Router were off.... Still seeing drops - ordered cat8 cord for tomorrow, will see if that helps.
This is a NEW feature on my orbi system. Constant disconnecting

FWIW, I also use Verizon Fios, together with my Orbi 870 system. I am not seeing the connection drops that you are seeing.
Both devices are routing (192.168.1.x for the Fios Lan, 10.0.0.x for the Orbi LAN) - so I am using a double-NAT configuration. WiFi on the Verizon router is turned off, and IPv6 is disabled in the Orbi. WiFi is provided to their set top boxes using an older Orbi (RBK50) that is in AP mode and connected to the Fios LAN.
If you are only using their internet service, you could try connecting the 770 router directly to the ONT.
