Orbi 770 has become unusable with my Fios system. Constant drops of internet
I have not changed anything from what was a stable set up last week. To best of my knowledge fios router is still in passive mode - with Orbi doing all the worker, but it frequently drops internet. L...
Thanks spent an hour with Fios... they had me "hard reset" and confirmed that all radios on Fios Router were off.... Still seeing drops - ordered cat8 cord for tomorrow, will see if that helps.

I understand that you are having intermediate network connection issues with your RBE771 and your Fios system. To mitigate this issue, please update your RBE771 to our latest firmware release version 12.1.7.23.

Make sure first that you have a 770v2 series. The v12 FW posted by the moderator is NOT compatible with the 770v1 series. There are two different HW revisions. v1 and v2. Both have different FW versions.

Thanks for the warning. App doesn't show which version... Is there a way to tell?
I am finding this generation of Netgear stuff pretty unsatisfying and the UX and Support not the best..
And I loved the last gen and have been Netgear for more than a decade

The link (https://www.netgear.com/support/product/rbe772v2) has the most current available firmware for the router and the satellite. This is shown as "(Orbi Router) and (Orbi Satellite)" next to the perspective firmware options. Firmware 12.1.7.23 is currently being sent out in small batches before mass release.
