We purchased an Orbi 970 with 3 satellite and added 4 all connected through a netgear 10g ethernet switch. We noticed some issues on boot up where they may boot up as wireless, or stuck in config sy...

Latest firmware 9.12.5.3_1.3.4 all firmware is auto updated and is latest.
All 4 wired are connect to the netgear XS508M 10gig switch the router between the satellite are the only things on the switch.
definitely 2 wired and the wireless are less 30 feet. Two others wired maybe be slight longer like 40feet.
we are aware of the limit of what seems to be 4 wireless that is why we went with wired connections. I could easily with to 3 wireless and 2 wired.
MetroNet out of lexington is the internet provider. not sure of the modem.
We are using good quality industrial lan cable.

It won't for a bit longer. NG only pushes to some in small batches initally or have support cases with NG open.

it about 10000 sq feet, pretty big.
Updated firmware no change. Brought RBS one by one and sure the problem is with from 4 to 5 satellites.
Can you explained the backhaul thing to get more that 4 satellites according to the tech note about WIFI 7? I thought this how the satellites when wireless were being connected. Is there a setting i need to do to enable that?
I tried enable some combinations of wireless and wired without success

Orbi WiFi 6, 6E, & 7 Systems are able to support more than 4 satellites via wireless connection; however, to ensure the best WiFi performance, we recommended using wired Ethernet backhaul connections for each additional satellite past the 1st thru 4th satellites that is wireless connected. For example: 1 wired satellite for systems with 5 total wireless connected satellites and 2 wired satellites for systems with 6 total satellites. 4 satellites being wirelessly connected then having two ethernet connected for a total of 6 satellites.
