Zero progress. I have reached out on my ticket to netgear (that’s been open for two months) and asked if we could try a replacement. As of Monday (4 days ago), they were checking on that. I have heard crickets.
I have not tried the fan recommendation yet, but if I don’t get a response I may have to try it.
If anyone has any other recommendations, I am all ears. If you are having the issue and find a resolution, please let me know!
Super frustrating. At this point I would never recommend to anyone - this is after having the system for 7+ years and recommending to many people.
If anyone is interested in buying this $1300 Orbi system, I would be willing to sell at a discount 🙂

Please give feedback to the questions presented.
Ya, lets get a fan on top while we wait for NG support.

I will also remind that my ISP put their routers in place (in the same spots as I have mine) for a week to troubleshoot. During that time, I had zero issues. As soon as I put the Orbi back in all the issues continued.
I'll also add that my RBS is wired.
