Orbi RBE770 Backhaul

Would be an issue of something in between the RBR and the garage causing a problem.

What brand and model # is this non managed switch?

CAT6A STP cabling is recommended.

The method of connection goes:

Internet is connected to the Base Router on the Internet socket.
The router connects to an unmanaged switch.
Satellite connects to the same unmanaged switch.
If I connect the cable going into the unmanaged switch (from the satellite in the garage) it switches to wired so my guess is it's something to do with the unmanagaed switch!! As to what though, I don't know. Do I need a different switch?

 

How do I get this connection to stay as a wired backhaul connection and not switch back to wireless?
