printer won't connect to network

I just received my new wifi system (Orbi 970 Series Quad-Band WiFi 7 Mesh Router, Black Edition, 27Gbps) with 1 satellite.  And it is SWEET!! My printer is an HP Smart Tank 7001.  I have read through the manuals for both the Orbi and Printer multiple times, and I have tried everything. I cannot get it to connect. I have worked 11 hrs at it and I give up.  I don't know if it's the printer or the wifi is too advanced.  On the printer side the app won't even see the printer.  No combination or amount of resets work.  On the wifi side I have no idea. Every time I press the "SYNC/WPS" button on the satellite the white light won't stop blinking unless I do a system reboot. Can someone please help me??    ....exhausted

    Some printers/IoT devices struggle with the new standards and rarely get updated. 

    You might have better luck turning on the IoT network for the orbi and seeing if it'll connect to that. 

    Once its connected, might see if there's any firmware updates for it

    or check with HP and see if they have any recommendations for connecting to wifi 7
