What happens if you have one of the RBS wireless instead of wired, leaving 5 RBS ethernet connected?
That size of home, not sure if having a 6th would be of benefit.
The result was the same. Attached Devices shows only five satellites, all as Wired/Good. The 6th satellite still does not appear on the Attached Devices page, although it continues to appear on the Firmware Update page.
Correction: The Attached Devices page showed only 5 satellites, 4 Wired/Good, 1 Wired/Config/Sys. The 6th satellite does not appear on the Attached Devices page, although it continues to appear on the Firmware Update page.
Will check and see if this is a limitation or an issue with FW. There was some discussion on how many RBS could be connected at once. Not sure what became of that.
You might contact NG support and see if they know of this as well...
Thank you. If this turns out to be a FW issue rather than a documented limitation, would you be able to escalate it to the Netgear engineering team? My testing shows the sixth satellite is fully operational and appears on the FW Update page, but never on the Attached Devices page.
