RBE771 Issues

We recently purchased the RBE771 with 2x RBE770 satellites less than 2 months ago and have nothing but problems with constant huge packet loss/connection. It is most evident during Zoom/Teams Video calls or Facetime for example. The far end(tested from many different sources) always says the video is very choppy and no clear video.

I have factory reset it twice after trying the latest firmware(10.5.18.3) and previous version(10.5.13.1), with the same issue. Armor and IPV6 are turned off. Both satellites are 30ish ft. away from each other and have good signal back to router.

House is only just under 2,000 sqft.

I have to believe there is something not right with this setup/hardware.

  • Is this happening if you turn OFF the RBS?

Happens with ethernet and wireless connections?

    What channels are you using?

What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6A STP is recommended.

Is SIP ALG enabled or disabled on the RBR? Under Advanced tab/Setup/WAN Setup.

For that size of home you only need the main RBR unit and just one RBS. Having too many RBS deployed could be causing too much wifi over lap and problems. Can you try turning OFF one RBS and test.
