I am furious.
I have a year warranty on the product but in order to get tech help for a possible hardware issue, they want me to pay $99 This is robbery, bogus, BS and I will never recommend Netgear again to anyone. It is unbelievable after paying over $500 for a new system, NG can't even offer tech support for the first year. Anyway, will recommend other mesh systems for this BS customer service. I will have to pay $99 to find out if it is a hardware issue!!! That is covered under warranty!!!
UPDATE: I took the problematic Satellite over to my
Ethernet connection and it is getting 1/4 the speed of the
other satellite on the same system. Plus it seems its wifi system is flakey I brought it back to its original location and it cannot connect to the hub. I even did the WPS and the router can't see the item. I thought this was a problem when it kept disconnecting from the base less than 70 feet from it with only 1 wall between them. I even tried to force flashed manual update to the firmware on the satellite but can't tell if it took or not since the firmware was already current.
Any thoughts? hardware issue?

Try a 30-30-30 reset on the RBS. Do this with all other RBS turned off.
Bring the RBS to the same room as the RBR and complete the 30-30-30 reset. Once complete, try to add the RBS to the RBR using the RBRs Add Satellite feature on the RBRs web page. Give about 5-10 minutes and keep checking the RBRs web page to see if the RBS connection status should show 5+6Ghz and not 2.4Ghz only.
