New RBR 370 router - WiFi 7 Setting?
So I know this will sound like a noob question but I honestly don't know the answer. This is a Wifi 7 router and I have a phone that is wifi 7 capable. Currently, the phone shows the wifi symbo...
To get WiFi 7, Mixed mode needs to be set. WPA2 is default on the 370 series due to NG wanting backwards compatibility. If you set mixed mode, you may see some older devices not work well with WPA3 being on the signal. If you see this, you can put these devices on the IoT network and then set WPA2 only.

Thank you so much. I'll check on older devices. Basically, just about all the other devices besides TV and Phones are on the IoT network.

Glad that worked. I forgot that for the 370 series WPA3 isn't enabled by default like it's older siblings. Glad that was the trick.
Hopefully your older devices can still work with it enabled. Most of mine do.
Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
