Two MACs from One RBE 971
Wanted to start a different thread from my random reboot thread -- because I am not sure if this is a related or non-related issue. In my home system, I have an RBR970 previosly described in AP m...

So I disconnected the ethernet cable from the satellite... and sure enough, it jumped over to wireless backhaul... but with a different MAC address that looks like 28:94:01:xx:xx:88. This MAC looks very similar to my other satellite which also has a mac address that looks like "28:94:01:XX:XX:00". So I wonder where the MAC address that begins with "2A" is coming from within the Satellite.
The really weird part of it is that it shares a couple of the "Octets" within the Satellite MAC address with the exception of the first and the last.
Even more weird is it just generated yet another phantom mac that began with "3E" and shared all the other Octets.
I think if anyone else tries this (going from wired to wireless or vice versa", they will find the wireless MAC is very close to the Wired MAC with the exception of the last Octet.
I suspect my next step it to factory reset that satellite, reintroduce it to the network and see if it still does the same thing.
Really odd, huh?
Any other suggestions out there?
