Thanks very much everyone. I was finally able to get all three units reset. I had to let the router stay on for a couple of minutes before starting the reset procedure.
One way to test a Factory Reset is to observe the WiFi signal. Assuming that you had changed the WiFi from the default value printed on the label to something more personal, a Factory Reset will return the WiFi signal to those default credentials. Also, logging into the web interface will accept "admin" and "password".
