Yeah, saw today. Interesting that they only mention iPhone 16, but I’m betting it’s more than that hopefully. Netgear finally made a case to get beta access. I just need to submit photos of the bottom of my unit for verification purposes. Do they just need a photo of one of the satellites or everything? One is enough, no? I will be updating to this one later this evening.

Yes was relased already. So give it a try: https://community.netgear.com/kb/en-home-orbi-firmware-releases/new---rbe970--rbe971-firmware-version-9-13-1-2-released/2460006
I highly recommend doing a power cycle of the system off for 1 minute then back on afterwards. If issues are still seen, a full factory reset and set up from scratch will be needed.
No need to contact NG support.

Sorry everyone for the delay on an update, been taking care of a family member post-surgery. This firmware update (9.13.1.2) finally fixed things, but not fully…
Apple TV 4Ks are faster, but eventually get capped at 100-150 (on WiFi with no interference). All other Apple devices are fine now. Only issues I see on this update are high download latency and an issue with adding back a 4th satellite in the network. If I leave it to 3 satellites (2 hardwired, 1 wireless), that stays stable on this specific firmware. The 4th satellite would be done via wireless backhaul. An ongoing issue is that all Apple devices still need to have Private Wi-Fi address off and the device count in the Orbi app also is inaccurate on device account because it duplicates a device as online if the device disconnects and reconnects later and continues to build.
While I am still so furiously angry at Netgear, it refreshing to see progress finally made.
NOTES:- To get the system performing (almost perfected) reliably, I did have to factory reset. Factory reset alone didn’t do anything, so I then ran nmrpflash on the router and all satellites which at least yielded the above. There is still much work to be done, and it can’t come fast enough.
- Still awaiting Netgear to get me in the beta program. They made a ticket to gain me access after they informed me I was approved. I sent photos as proof of ownership and haven’t heard anything since. Not sure why it’s taking so long. Talking to support when I notice areas that need fixing is worthless as they continually tell me (and I quote “everything is working fine” and don’t bother escalating when I have explained the issue in detail all the time. I can never get escalated to engineer to examine if there is partial incompatibility with my ISP’s equipment or still ongoing bugs in firmware. THAT is the part that irritates the hell out of me the most! To reiterate what I already said in another post, not sure how anyone can think I don’t want to be helped when I am trying to be communicative and work with others to address the current issues! It’s not rocket science and it’s not hard to do to collaborate! ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS BE WILLING TO LISTEN!
