upgrading settings from Orbi 5 to Triband 7?
Hi, I just purchased a Triband 7 orbi to replace my aging 5 system. It is possible or advisable to export my settings from the 5 to set up my 7 system? If so, what is the recommended procedu...
p.s. It is often a good practice to hold onto the old system until after the new system has been installed and found suitable. (i.e. if you "hate it", you can always "go back" to the previous system.)
That is one reason I always configure a new system with exactly the same WiFi credentials (SSID/password) as the one that is being replaced:
- this means that every WiFi device will connect automatically to the new system, and
- If I decide to "go back", every device will connect to the previous system.
