Upgrading to 870 from RBR53 (Orbi AC3000 )

My current router is now considered EOL so looking to move to a Orbi 870.

I'm wondering if it is possible to export the configuration from the old router and import it to the new one?

I know a lot has changed, but it'd make configuration easier.

Thanks in advance.

Yes, it would make the process a LOT easier, and NO.  Configuration files from one model of Netgear router cannot be imported into a different model.

Sucks big time.  Fortunately, most of us go years between upgrading routers.

One can also refer to Voxels FW for the 50 series Orbi system should you want to keep that running. They still maintain FW for the 50 series.

If you get a new system, one can moderately easily set up the new system with the same SSID name and password for the wifi network and once you put the new system online, devices should migrate and connect seemlessly. Something I explained here: Orbi 970 Wi-Fi 7 Ordered | NETGEAR Communities
