Watch out with firmware 9.11.1.1

Just updated to firmware 9.11.1.1 and the algorithm decided to change from my daisy chain topology to star topology for some reason.

I did a hard reset on the satellites and still didnt make a difference. Luckily i had a copy of the 9.11.0.1 firmware (the one that netgear pulled out from their website for some reason) saved on my desktop and rolled back, working fine again.

Just wanted to share my experience after updating.
  • How is your RBS placed and distances from the RBR?

You'll need to factory reset the RBR along with the RBS to check this after v9.11.1.1 is loaded. You can't just reset the RBS. Something may have changed in new FW that needs to be cleared out after loading new FW. NOTEs suggest doing this, even if a power cycle on the RBR and RBS fail to resolve issues seen after new FW is loaded.

Mine show star formation after this version was loaded.
