I successfully updated to firmware version 12 and I didn't even need help from my high-tech kids and grandkids!!!

Glad you got it working. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.

Thanks, I saved a copy of the settings.
By the way, I have a new Lenovo laptop that has Wifi 7 and this Orbi 970 router is supposed to have Wifi 7.
I looked up the Lenovo laptop on the Attached Devices tab and I expected to see Wifi 7 but instead I of Wifi 7, I saw 5GHz + 6GHz.
I'm not troubled, my computer is plenty fast enough for me. I'm just a bit confused.

Being able to use both frequencies is a WiFi 7 feature (called MLO), so this is using WiFi 7.
