Cannot access routerlogin.net or 192.168.1.1 when RAX80 is connected to CM1200
Hi, I know this may seem like something simple, but im having an issue with my router, and i have finally after hours of troubleshooting and 4 different computers and browsers figured out the issue. I have a CM1200 Nighthawk cable modem and RAX80 wifi 6 router. I can login to my cable modem just fine, however, i cannot access the router anytime its connected to the modem. I know that normally that could be an issue if the cable modem was a modem/router in one, but with this, its not. the router is seperate and modem is just a cable modem and i dont understand what it is thats causing this. also if i use the nighthawk app, i can only access the router if i choose to use remote connection, it doesnt recogniz the router on either bands of wifi.

also just to note, ive tried an iphone, ipad, and 4 macs, none of them have firewalls or security applications enabled, and everyone of them worked just fine once i disconnected the cable modem.
Are you connecting more than 1 device to the cm1200?
are you using link aggregation with the cm1200?
Firmware on the RAX80?
are you able to access it, when it isn't connected to the cm1200?

Thanks so much for the reply, heres the answers to your quesitions
Are you connecting more than 1 device to the cm1200?
▶︎No My router is connected to the first ethernet, I have tested it to see if it worked differently on the other ethernet but same issue
are you using link aggregation with the cm1200?
▶︎No,
"Ethernet Port Aggregation Status: Inactive"
Firmware on the RAX80?
▶︎Its currently V1.0.1.64 I know theres an update and I have auto update enabled, however, it still hasnt updated automatically and i cant get logged into it to update it. I cant get it to update from the nighthawk app either because I can only see my router when i use the connect remotely option. thats how i am able to see the firmware version is from the remote connection in the app
are you able to access it, when it isn't connected to the cm1200?
▶︎Yes I can log into it perfectly when its not connected to the modem. I have even double checked to make sure that im using the correct router IP address to access it as well
