can't log into router
I have a RAXE500 Netgear router firmware version v1.2.14.114. I am unable to get access to this router with any method. The ip address doesn't work and the web address takes me to the netgear website...

You'll need to press the reset button on the back of the router for 10-15 seconds then release and setup the router from scratch with a wired PC and web browser:

I recommend disconnecting everything from the router and disconnect the router from the ISP modem/ONT as well. Once you get it setup, you can reconnect it back to the ISP modem/ONT.
What brand and model# is the ISP modem/ONT?

Well, I was able to reset everything, but I still can't log into the router.
No matter what I put in it takes me to Netgear's site.
I'm lost.

And you reset the router with out it being connected to the ONT?

Yes. The only thing plugin was the power cord. I also rebooted the ONT.

So if the router is disconnected from the ONT and factory reset and give 1 minute, can you not get to the routers setup wizard page at 192.168.1.1. You should see a page here picturing using the Nighthawk mobile app, then if you scroll down to the bottom of this page, you should see a link that says don't have the nighthawk app or mobile device, click this link.
